Fuel Injection system of the F650 CS

-What’s been said?
-Many F650 owners have experienced the infamous S&S. BMW insists there is no problem although early iterations of the bike were “repaired” under warranty by swapping out the injectors with injectors from R1100s as well as updating the computer software to the most current available.

-Current software is 10.1. Software version can be verified and upgraded if necessary by your local BMW dealer
-Measure Regulated Fuel Pressure
-Type of Gas
-It has been noted by many riders that the use of premium gasoline is ineffective and using regular grade gasoline (the lowest grade your machine will tolerate without knocking) is very effective at reducing/eliminating S&S.
